- Vibes: 5/5 (dark, popping, reggaeton) - Crowd: 5/5 (crowded but u don't need reservation) - Menu: 5/5 (lots of options, decently priced) - Value for price: 4/5 (drinks are weak, food is great) - Parking: 4/5 (tiny lot, can be valet on weekends) My roommate and I hit up Kalaveras for a Friday girls night. We got there right before 6pm and they still let us order happy hour drinks. We got two margaritas each (only $8 in HH!)- I recommend the pepino for refreshing, and chamoyada for spicy. My only complaint is that they make the drinks very weak here, consistently, but the flavors are great. Chips and a red salsa (non spicy) are provided. We ordered the 3 tacos- pollo, carne asada, and chicharron. Carne asada was my favorite. Lots of flavor in the little tacos, blue corn tortillas- very aesthetic. Super popping place for a date night or celebration!

Food was great guacamole is fresh, We had agua de Sandia so good. Our server was Rosie, she was dancing smiling, and VERY attentive. She was so sweet and proffesional she has the best vibe. Definitely coming back, not super busy , came on a Thursday for lunch. Again service was great!!
